چکیده
Korea’s first lunar mission, the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), aims to launch in mid-2022 via Space-X Falcon-9 vehicle. For successful flight operation of KPLO, Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) has designed and developed Flight Dynamics Subsystem (FDS). FDS is one subsystems KPLO Deep-Space Ground System (KDGS), which responsible for overall dynamics-related operation. currently successfully implemented meets all requirements derived from critical design phases. The current work addresses implementation results FDS. Starting overviews on payloads, bus systems, mission trajectory characteristics, a review KDGS also treated briefly. Details philosophy, unique functionalities six different modules nested inside with its Graphical User Interface (GUI) are discussed. Moreover, efforts devoted preparation summarized, including many collaborative works between KARI National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) teams.

متن کاملThe Rosetta mission orbiter science overview: the comet phase
The international Rosetta mission was launched in 2004 and consists of the orbiter spacecraft Rosetta and the lander Philae. The aim of the mission is to map the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko by remote sensing, and to examine its environment in situ and its evolution in the inner Solar System. Rosetta was the first spacecraft to rendezvous with and orbit a comet, accompanying it as it passes ...
متن کاملThe Joint Milli-arcsecond Pathfinder Survey (j-maps): Mission Overview
We describe the Joint Milli-Arcsecond Pathfinder Survey (J-MAPS). J-MAPS is an all-sky space-based astrometric survey mission with a primary mission objective of measuring stellar positions and motions to better than 1 milliarcsecond (mas) and 1 mas per year, respectively. J-MAPS will completely update the Hipparcos catalog (1 mas @ epoch=1991.25; 16 mas @ epoch=2006) and the twenty year baseli...
متن کاملThe LISA Pathfinder mission
In this paper, we describe the current status of the LISA Pathfinder mission, a precursor mission aimed at demonstrating key technologies for future spacebased gravitational wave detectors, like LISA. Since much of the flight hardware has already been constructed and tested, we will show that performance measurements and analysis of these flight components lead to an expected performance of the...
متن کاملThe Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Mission – Six years of science and exploration at the Moon
Since entering lunar orbit on June 23, 2009 the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has made comprehensive measurements of the Moon and its environment. The seven LRO instruments use a variety of primarily remote sensing techniques to obtain a unique set of observations. These measurements provide new information regarding the physical properties of the lunar surface, the lunar environment, and ...
